my experience on blog

the a first time i just didn't known how to write all the things that crossed on my mind, and that made me feel bad, because i couldn't find the words i wanted to convey but whit some practice now i don't have this problem. apart from all of this i think that blogs in general are a very interesting form to evaluate, because it's a entertaining way to inspirate our creativity, and it also helps us to have a better grammar.
in my case more than develop skills to write, i learned to focus on what's really important, for example when i'm just a "begginer", i don't have a clear idea of what i will write , but now i develop the way that i should follow so as not to deviate to other less importat points.
i think that blogs are good enough, the only think that i would change could be some topics becouse in my opinion in 2 cases i was very bored when i was writing, but if you ask me i really don't know what other topics could replace them, because my tastes , maybe others don't like it.

the pandemic

sars cov 2 is the newest enemy that the medicine must erradicate, due to it's contagion capacity. all of this began in wuhan,china , where the first case appeared. after that sars cov 2 would start to expand without limits to the rest of the world.in the middle of chaos some theories appear for example; we have scientist that said that the virus was a mutation of another known tipe of coronavirus , but many others said that this virus is too complex to be just a mutation, which means that they suggest that it was created in a laboratory by humans.

nowadays more than 30 differents types of new coronavirus was discovered thanks to the reserchers that has been carried out, but neither of those was similar to sars cov 2.although most countries took steps to prevent the virus from sprading, it was useless, because it was too late, now many people arround the world have been infected, even if a lot of people have recovered from the desease, many other have died.our last option was  waiting for a cure in our houses into a cuarentine , meanwhile other people are fighting  in a hospital against death.

my favourite subject

this first semester, i discovered a new hobby thanksfully to my new favourite subject psychoeducational orientation. on this class we develop some new skills to make easier our lernings, for example this week we learned about 4 diffents methods of how study and how to identify all of them, they are visual, auditory, kinesic and the last one is a combination of them. the most of the time the class consist on a dialogue between the teacher and the different points of view of the students on a topic, i guess this is the main reason of the why i like this class, because i learn topic by my teacher but then the same teacher ask us for our opinion ralated on it.
In summary i really like this subject because the classes are more dynamic that the other ones, and at the same time it is less demanding.

John Stith Pemberton

He was a biochemist who is best know as the inventor of coca cola.
Pemberton born in july 8th in 1831, in knoxville , Georgia. and spend most of his childhood in Rome, Georgia. he entered the reform medical college of Georgia in Macon, in 1850, at the age of nineteen, he earned his ,medical degree. his ,ain talent was chemistry,After initially practicing some medicine and surgery, Dr. Pemberton opened a drug store in columbus.

in 1885 during the american civil war, he was hurt by a saber on the chest, and for ease his pain they use mophine substance to which he would be addicted.
in 1886, seeking a cure for his addiction he began to experiment with painkilles serve free-morphine alternatives to morphine, after some intents he began experimenting whit coca and coca wines
and eventualy creating a recipe that contained extracts of Kola nut and damiana, that was called Pempertom's French Wine Coca. but sold his rights to the drink shortly before his death.

chemistry and pharmacy are one of the careers that will never die, because the fate of humanity depends on the development of it. Today we can see it in action because of the current pandemic has caused laboratories around the world to investigate  to find a possible cure.
one of my dreams as a child was to be part of healthcare system, because i saw a serie that showed how our body worked,it's called one upon a time .... life. thanksfully to this serie i saw the white blood cells as a heroes who battle against villains(which could be viruses or bacteria obviously), but in one episode they showed us that heroes don't always win, and the pneumococci invades the body, and the person got sick, after that, a doctor gives to him a medicine that create a kind of army to destroy the bacteria. this caused curiosity on me, that and the books i would read some time later would transform that curiosity into a motivation to learn more.

my first time at the mountain

when i was a child , my dad always told me histories about his childhood. some of this histories  are related to the mountain and my futher's adventures on it. from those moments the mountain became one of my dream place. time passed until i turned 15 years old, as a bithday present my dad told me: ''¿do you want to know the mountain?'', i inmediatly said yes.

we planning our visit to Vilches( one natural reserve located at 67km from Talca).I remember that i buy a mountain backpack that can hold 75lts, also i bought a lot of cans of food and thermal clothes like t-shits, boots, socks,jackets and a trekking stick that i lost when we crossed the river :'(.

about 2 hours after starting to walk, we finally arrive to the camp 6 a relax place where all the turists camp,there were even 2 toilets and 2 showers.but we must continue.

  about 4 hours later,we were in front of a river , a don't remember it's name right now, but it was so big that it was at least 15 meters wide , and the water was as cold as a bucket of ice, in this moment i could fell the cold in my bones, so after that we finally arrived to the deer valley(after another 2 hours of walking). our adventure ends, when 2 days after our arrival to the deer valley, the weather turns cloudy and my dad told me '' i think that in a few hours it would start to rain'' , for this reson we started our return. 

my new hobbie on this cuarentine

As all people know, the whole world are in a difficult situation caused by covid-19.for this reason many people started to do some activities that they don't do in other instance.
In my case, the last month(may), i started to watching yu-gi-oh, an anime that tell the history about our protagonist and his friends.All of them play a trading card game called Yu-Gi-Oh.
Well this card game is very difficult if you ask me, even if you know the rules,because it has more than ten thousand different cards and all of them with diferent effects.
also, we can see a competitive comunity arround the world,that play some tournament to make him the legendary dulist who wins the world championship, but as in all things you must invest a lot of money to have a competitive deck, and you also invest time to learn the rules of the game and how they interact with your monsters effects.
eventhough i know that i will not be a competitive player, i built a low budget deck with a lot of my favourite cards, only for fun.

which is my favourite piece of technology?

I didn't know who to start this blog, so..... I just tell you that my favourire piece of technology is my new notebook.why? because i bought it by my own,working in "Hacienda Chada" during the summer. At first i only use it to read books or whatching series on netflix, but now when i discovered the potencial of my cpu and processor, i play a lot of videogame, for example: GTA V, the binding of isaac, terraria, league of legends(that is like drugs, because when you start playing you can't quit) and minecraft.
I don't use the notebook to play all the time, because it would consume all my free time and distract me from my responsabilities. for this reason i just play 2 hours per day, and only if i don't have any homework or housework to do.
In general my notebook is my favourite technology gadgets because you can do whatever you want,the only limitation is your internet conection or the memory of your computer.

Why chemistry and pharmacy?

When i was a child, i used  to dream of being paleontologist, because i liked dinosaurs.In fact i still have an encyclopedia of them. obviously it was just one of my multiples child phases, also my parents told me that all paleotogist don't have a good salary, after that i just lose the interested on this job.
Some time later, a serie of book were published together with the newspaper "el mercurio",all this books are related of science.

The first one that i bought was "the atom and the chemestry" to me this was the first step to take one of the most important decition, that was choose a career. This book opened my mind to a million of oportunities that are related to the science, for example: biology, math,physics and chemestry.
 I started to like them( all this happened when i'm just 8 years old).
Many years later,when i'm in  12th grade(4° medio), my head teacher made me take a decision about my future, and she told me about different career, for example engineer, medicine , biochemistry, and many other, but none of them caught my attention,until "that day" came.
this day one of my favorite aunt, who studied chemistry and pharmacy, helped me about chemistry becouse i didn't understand how to name organic molecules,which led me ask, what the carrer was. this shocked me so much that today i'm studying it.

how is carlos?

My name is Carlos Zagal Salinas. I was born on february 11th, in Santiago,Chile, . At elementary school and secondary school ,i studied at nahuel school in Paine(at south of Santiago).


Nowadays i'm studing chemestry and pharmacy at Universidad de Chile,i wonder if i can finish my high education on 6 years, because of the the current global situation that's called corona virus.


I live with my family in Buin, my dad, my mom and my two brothers, the youngest williams, who is 8 years old ,and the middle brother matias, how is 11 years old.

i love reading as well as watching anime, and in my freetime i play the the guitar,play video games and discuss about some anime plots with my friends. my favourite movie saga is the lord of the rings, and my favourite book saga is harry potter, but if you ask me, now i prefer some histories of H.P Lovecraft, for example the call of cthulhu, or the curious case of charles dexter ward.
